Charlie Simpson (born 7 June 1985 in Woodbridge near Ipswich, England) was the youngest member of the highly successful British pop group Busted and now vocalist and guitarist in Fightstar. He has two older brothers, Will and Edd - Will is the vocalist and guitarist in Brigade and Edd plays in Prego.Charlie attended Posh public school Uppingham, along with the likes of Harry Judd from McFly. He was selected as the third member of Busted after responding to an advert placed by Matt and James in NME magazine in 2001. He plays guitar, piano, drums and bass and does vocals. He is renowned for his distinguished eyebrows(which he says are "the biggest and best in the business") and guitar playing style, the latter reminiscent of Tom Verlaine.In January 2005, Charlie caused Busted to split after deciding to leave the band to concentrate on his other band, Fightstar. The name "Fightstar" is derived from the film Fight Club and Dogstar, the band of Keanu Reeves.
