The Chronicles of Life and Death is an album by Good Charlotte. The album was released on October 5, 2004. The album was released with two different versions. A "Life" version and a "Death" version which both came with different cover art and a special bonus track.

Review

The Chronicles of Life and Death is perhaps the best of the best first post-fame album. It stately cleared that the song composers which were the Maddens themselves are unquestionably happy with their celebrity. Joel Madden has also matured since the Young and the Hopeless - his newly developed husky tenor suits him well on the more introspective material. The album possesses more haunting background vocal harmonies, synthesizers, and creative sound effects and most of the songs gets its soul from the ''pop'' (not questioning their genre) life they lead. But Good Charlotte's pop punk/punk pop aura still remains.
